Generative Hybrid Reality (Generative HR) is a production methodology that combines authentic human performance with generative artificial intelligence to create immersive visual experiences. Human actors and performances are captured in the real world, while AI is used to generate, enhance, or transform environments, characters, visual effects, and cinematic worlds around them.

Unlike Virtual Reality (VR), which fully replaces the physical world with a computer-generated environment, or Augmented Reality (AR), which overlays digital content onto the real world, Generative Hybrid Reality fuses real human expression with AI-generated realities.
